Connecting Shopify

Klirry reads your orders from Shopify with a read-only connection. It takes about two minutes and you need a Shopify admin account for the store.

What you need

  • An account that can create apps in the store's Shopify admin.
  • Your store domain, the address you log in with, for example my-store.myshopify.com.

Steps

  • Create a custom app. In the Shopify admin open Settings, then Apps and sales channels, then Develop apps, and create an app. Menu names can change; look for "Develop apps".
  • Give it read access only. Under the Admin API scopes tick read_orders and read_products. Klirry asks for nothing else and never needs write access.
  • Install the app and copy the Admin API access token. This is a password that lets Klirry read your store, and only read. It starts with shpat_.
  • Paste it into Klirry. In the setup step "Connect your store", or later under Connections, choose Shopify, enter the store domain and the token, and press Connect.

What happens next

  • Your last 30 days of orders are fetched first, so a real profit number appears within minutes.
  • The older history (up to 365 days) is filled in right after.
  • From then on Klirry checks for new orders every 15 minutes, and does a full sweep every night at 02:00 Stockholm time to catch late changes.

Klirry only reads. It does not change your store, install anything on your storefront, or add a tracking pixel.

If something goes wrong

If Shopify does not accept the connection, the Connections page says so and offers Reconnect. See troubleshooting broken connections.
