Coming. Not available yet. The WooCommerce connector is in development and is not offered to merchants. This guide describes how it is planned to work; there is nothing to set up today.
Klirry connects to WooCommerce through the store's REST API (the way apps talk to the store) with a key, a read-only password.
Steps
- Create a REST API key. In WordPress open WooCommerce, then Settings, then Advanced, then REST API, and add a key. Set the permission to Read.
- Copy the Consumer key and Consumer secret. WooCommerce shows the secret only once.
- Paste them into Klirry. Under Connections choose WooCommerce, enter the store address and both values, and press Connect.
Good to know
- The store address must start with
httpsand be reachable from the internet. Private or local addresses are refused. - Klirry reads orders and their line items. It does not install a plugin and has no write access to your store.
- VAT is taken from the order's reported tax. A store with tax calculation switched off is treated as having no VAT, and Klirry flags it.
- If you use a multi-currency plugin, Klirry flags that totals may not be in the order currency.
If something goes wrong
- A message about permalinks means the store uses "Plain" permalinks. Choose any other structure under Settings, then Permalinks, and save.
- A firewall or cache that answers REST calls with a web page blocks the connection. Allow the path
/wp-json/wc/v3/. - A rejected key usually means it was revoked or has the wrong permission. Create a new Read key and use Reconnect on the Connections page.
